Yeah, I know I am not in London, I am in Maidenhead, but it is about 30 minutes from Heathrow. I did not sleep well Thursday night, at all on the plane last night nor during my nap. I plan to make it an early evening and take an ambien to help me sleep tonight. Breakfast at 8 and church at 930. I think I'll then go to Windsor Castle. I drove by it on the way here. It is HUGE!
Tried to check in at the hotel but they had lost my reservation. Some good news and some bad.
They upgraded me to their best room - definitely the largest, but modest still and the shower is very tiny. There is a wedding here tonight and next door is a couple with an infant and a crying baby. I still have my earplugs from the plane and see the comment about the Ambien above.
I took a shower and feel quite refresed, I am 7 hours ahead of Colorado time, here...
Oh, as for the business issues. They did decide that I should follow the kickoff presentations for 30 minutes to set the context for their change and Change Management. Then on day 2, I'll have 3.5 hours for my workshop. Pretty exciting. I think the fellows I am working with are between 40 and 45 years old. One has a 19 year old daughter and the other two children; one 9 and one 6 months!
